Direct gevonden op roep (licht snakkend tek tek). Goed te zien terwijl de vogel hof hoog door de struiken ging. Ving een flinke rups.
Lange donkere hoornkleurige poten, en lange spitse snavel (bovensn licht hoornkleurig, ondernemer oranje). Licht vleugelpaneel.
Regelmatig staartwippend en links-rechts zwaaiend.
